My name is Casca, and I am originally from Tucson, Arizona. I now reside in the greater Seattle area in Washington.

Making games has always been a dream of mine, and I am ecstatic to finally be making it a reality.

I started this journey in 2008 after graduating High School and attended Pima Community College for their brand new Digital Game and Simulation Associate (AAS) degree. I graduated with Honors from PCC in 2012 and have been trying to break into the industry ever since.

Tucson is a relatively dry location for game development, so jobs were hard to come by. I came to the realization with the help of my family that I needed to take a leap and look into furthering my knowledge and skill, so I started looking into DigiPen Institute of Technology.

I started at DigiPen in the Fall of 2018, and it has been uphill ever since. Now it is 2021, and I am a Senior. I have grown immensely as both a person and an artist and am looking forward to taking all of this experience and trying to help give back to the industry that gave me a place to immerse myself in new worlds!

Thanks for reading, and feel free to reach out for job opportunities or say hi!

Other things about me

The other side of gaming for me has always been music. Back home in Arizona, marching band was a huge outlet for me in both high school and my first college.

While attending Pima Community College I dual enrolled at the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) so I can join the "Pride of Arizona" Marching Band. I spent 5 years in this amazing program and it remains a major part of me today. It was here where I got my first real taste of the amazing energy of collaboration. Being a small piece of this ensemble elevated my understanding and appreciation of creating something that is bigger than myself.
